Since clinical has passed I have been engorging myself with beauty routines I used to love. Social media gives commercialism a new dimension. I am definitely not the type to consume something without knowing about the product, and Youtube review videos make these luxuries more palatable for me in a sense that they provide the information I need to determine if I want the product or not.

I am not really one who likes to shop. The act of shopping is something I don't enjoy. The amount of product available is sometimes overwhelming that I simply do not buy anything when I have no predetermined product in my before walking into a mall. These three products would not be something I would have picked up. 1) They are incredibly expensive, 2) I don't know if I will like the product, and 3) expensive does not always correlate to quality. These are reasons why I tend to buy low-range to mid-range products as I don't want to pay up without knowing what's up if you now what I mean.

However, I have completely enjoyed these three products. Chanel Number 5 L'eau (pronounced along the lines of loo), Dior Addict Lipstick in shade 881, and Victoria Beckam's Morning Aura Illuminating Creme.

First off, Chanel Number 5 L'eau opens with Lemon, Mandarin and Orange notes. Then settles to Rose, Jasmine and hints of Ylang Ylang before the perfume's finale of Cedar, and cottony Musk notes. I am a Dior girl when it comes to perfumes. I love the Dior J'adore and Miss Dior perfume lines. I tend to be a creature of habit so it was surprising that I would be attracted to a Chanel perfume line, which mind you, I heard smells like your Grandma's room, plus I really hate citrus smells (reminds me of all my highschool classmates wearing those citrus bath and body lotions that gave me a headache). It has always been hard to describe scents but if I were to describe Chanel L'eau it would be like waking up in near the end of spring and just before summer in a modest cabin beach house, sat atop green hills looking over the coast. You walk out the door, the crisp chill of morning hits your skin, a gentle breeze slightly blows on your hair, and you begin to walk out into the sloping green hills. The sun warms your skin as you walk down the near the coast. You sit on the edge and invite yourself the sun's heat.

These Dior Lip Addict is not for those who like a lot of pigment. I like the color to be on the sheer side, that little bit of color that looks like I did not try so hard in the morning. The Victoria Beckam lotion is amazing. I feel confident enough to leave the house with just this illuminating creme with a bit of concealer under my eyes. I generally have combination skin and enjoy the dewy look without looking like I just walked out the gym. This creme does that for me.
