She worked as a Project Coordinator for The Greater Logan Heights Community Partnership based in San Diego's District 8. She coordinated various projects that promoted housing development, economic development and civic engagement, to the low-mid income families in San Diego. She spearheaded and developed a program that would help homeowners in the area rehabilitate and improve curb appeal of their homes thereby, increasing equity for both her clients and the community.She is trained in conflict management and team building strategies. As a project coordinator, she often had to meet and develop teams consisting primarily of community advocates and leaders.Formerly a 2 term LISC AmeriCorps Intern in MAAC Project, a 501 (c)(3) company, as a Project Coordinator of their Housing and Real Estate Department from 2009 to 2011. In her spare time, she works as a freelance illustrator doing work for various non-profit organizations and private clients in their marketing campaign.

Currently, she's pursuing her Masters of Science Nursing Case Management to satisfy her plethora of goals concerning the public and city.
